Musical Bridge
**Open to 4th and 5th graders**
Green Valley is excited to offer a wonderful music program called Musical Bridge, which connects local students with the senior community through music. Students who play an instrument (any level of skill is welcome) rehearse 2-3x/month on Thursdays after school (from 2:30-3:15pm in the music room) and perform approximately once a month after school at one of the senior homes next door (i.e. Brookdale Diablo Lodge and Sunrise Senior Living). The program is open to 4th and 5th graders and will be led by Mya Jibodh (a current Monte Vista student) and our Green Valley music teacher.
This is a fun and easy opportunity for students to volunteer in the community, share their musical talent, and bring joy to senior residents. Below are some photos from last year’s performances.
