Green Valley Elementary

 

Green Valley is more than just an educational institution; it is a community. Like any other community, Green Valley draws on the shared interests and goals of its members. For us, this is the fundamental desire to see our children succeed.

 

As a public school, we have to offer all school activities – even extracurricular and communal events – free of charge. However the simple reality is that our budget is finite and many activities and resources rely heavily on your financial support. In these instances we ask for monetary “donations”, or “contributions” to help bridge the gap; both at the beginning of the school year, and as and when they occur.

 

While these donations are not mandatory, they are essential if we are to continue to fund such things as our reading, music and technology programs through our Learning Fund, as well as fun PTA events like the Fall Festival, movie nights and child/parent dances.
