Hello Green Valley Families!

My name is Cori Gouveia and I am excited to introduce myself as the new PTA President at Green Valley. Not to be confused with the Learning Fund (whose goal is to help fund the school’s educational needs), the PTA’s main focus at Green Valley is COMMUNITY. As a board, we will be working hard to build that sense of community by bolstering school spirit, creating a feeling of togetherness and inclusion, and promoting the emotional and physical well-being of our children. From fun-filled events to enriching programs, we have a dynamic calendar to engage the diverse interests of our school community. We love our Green Valley parent volunteers and encourage everyone to get involved, share your insights, and contribute your talents to make this year truly exceptional. Whether you have a few hours to spare at an event, volunteer to be your child’s room parent, or are looking to take on a more significant role, your contributions are appreciated. Another great way to support our efforts is through a PTA membership. Membership does not obligate you to participate, it simply helps fund our PTA events/programs and gives you the option to attend our General Association meetings. You’ll get a glimpse into what we do as a PTA board, receive updates from our Principal, Donna Grim, connect with other parents, stay informed on current school events, advocate on behalf of your child, and vote on important issues that help to enrich your child’s school experience.
