Green Valley Elementary

As we begin the 2024-2025 school year, we would like to extend a warm welcome to all new and returning families. Green Valley School is a special place thanks, in part, to the generous families who collectively value the enrichment of our children’s elementary school experience.

 

Learning Fund is an Education Fund that is committed to funding Instructional assistants (IA’s), a Makers Space IA, our beloved Librarian hours, lunchtime sports, reading Interventions/ Resources, classroom materials and professional development for our teachers. These programs are NOT funded by our district.

Without the additional funding from our families, we would not be able to offer these programs to our children and further enrich their education.

The Green Valley Learning Fund is a non-profit organization whose mission is to raise funds to bridge the gap between state funding and the actual cost of the full educational experience we strive for our children to have.

Your generous donation at registration - The Future Fund Campaign, the Apex Fun Run, the Annual Auction, and Employer Matching programs are all vitally important to ensuring our school raises the money we need to keep enhanced programming and services available to our children.

Current Donation Ask:
As of June 2020, all Learning Funds in the San Ramon Valley School District are required to forward fundraise. Therefore, your donation to our 2024/2025 Future Fund Campaign will be applied to the 2025/2026 school year. The minimum fundraising amount to be raised for the 2024/2025 school year is $457,000, with the suggested donation of $650 per student. However, we have an increased need for services due to district budget cuts and loss of COVID funded grants which brings the total cost per student to around $880. We hope to make up this difference with our fundraisers (APEX, Auction) and your generous donations throughout the year. All donations are tax deductible. Many employers have employee matching, be sure to ask your employer if that is an option as that can double or triple your donation. Donations:
Learning Fund donations have a direct impact on improving every child’s educational experience. Please be a part of this vital process. Donations can be made in full at registration or broken into installments. We aim to have 100% of our families donate at whatever amount is possible for the family.

 

*By check, complete Online Registration (http://gves.futurefund.com), and bring your “pay by check” receipt to the Green Valley office and a check made out to the Green Valley Learning Fund.

*Giving a one time $650 asking donation or donate to our fundraisers during the year such as Fall Fest and APEX.
