Dear Green Valley Families,
Summer is just around the corner, and we are thrilled to announce our first ever Green Valley School Summer Reading Challenge! We want to keep our students' minds active, engaged, and diving into wonderful adventures all summer long through the power of books.
We’ve designed this year’s challenge to be an absolute blast! Here is how your child can join in on the excitement:
- 📖 Smash Your Reading Goals! Whether it is 100 pages or 1,000 pages, every single page counts! Watch your child's confidence soar as they track their stack and see how many pages they can conquer before the school bell rings in the fall.
- 🎲 Play Reading BINGO! We are sending home a custom Summer Reading Bingo Card! Students can complete fun challenges like "Read under a tree," "Read in your pajamas," or "Read a book about animals" to clear rows and hit a BINGO!
- 🍕 Earn a FREE Pizza Reward! Yes, you read that right! Every student who completes their Reading Bingo Card and meets their summer page goals will earn a delicious voucher for a free pizza to celebrate their incredible achievement!

Here are the guidelines for this event:
Parents please print the tracking log and the appropriate Bingo card for your student.
- Have fun reading!
- You are allowed to read any book of your choice.
- Make sure you fill out the tracking form for each bingo square you complete.
