Teacher Appreciation Week
May 8th-12th
Teachers play a key role in student success and sometimes a simple “thanks” is all a teacher needs to feel valued. That is why we dedicate one week every school year to honoring our wonderful Green Valley teachers - each of whom lend their passion and skills to help educate our children.
Help show your love and appreciation for all that your child's teacher does by taking part in the following:
Monday, May 8th: Bring in a flower for your child's teacher and teacher aid. These will be used to make bouquets from the class.
Tuesday, May 9th: PTA sponsored lunch.
Wednesday, May 10th: Bring in a homemade cards for your child's teacher and provide lunch.
Thursday, May 12th: Coffee.
Friday, May 12th: Contribute to a small teacher gift from your child's class and provide lunch.
*** Please also consider bringing in coffee and lunch for your teacher. Your room parent will be sending out a sign-up to volunteer.***
